Owner Coaching and Training Guides
Training Dog's by Coaching Their Humans
Our training and behaviour support is designed to help owners better understand, communicate with, and guide their dogs through everyday life using structure, consistency, and practical routines.
Rather than focusing on intensive hands-on training, sessions are centered around owner coaching, lifestyle management, and providing realistic guidance tailored to your dog’s individual needs and behaviours. Following an initial consultation, clients receive access to The Tails and Trails Training Guide — a digital resource filled with step-by-step exercises, structure tips, and foundational training support to work through at home at your own pace.
Support may include guidance with:
• Recall and engagement
• Leash manners
• Jumping and polite greetings
• Confidence building
• Structure and routine support
• Calmness and settling
• Foundational obedience skills
How It Works
Initial Consultation
We begin with a 45–60 minute consultation to discuss your dog’s behaviour, routine, lifestyle, goals, and any challenges you may be experiencing. This allows us to better understand your dog and point you in the right direction moving forward.
Personalized Guide Recommendations
Following the consultation, clients receive access to The Tails and Trails Training Guide along with personalized recommendations on which sections, exercises, and routines may best support their dog’s individual needs.
Continued Support
Clients receive continued support for a designated time following their consultation for questions, guidance, progress check-ins, and help navigating the guide and training recommendations while working through them at home.
